Alfred Slidell writ, 1881 June 10.

Writ of injunction issued by the United States Circuit Court, Eastern District of Louisiana, in the case of Alfred Slidell vs. George Grandjean, a U.S. deputy surveyor. The lawsuit concerned trespasses on lands alleged to have been included in a Spanish land grant. The writ instructs Slidell to cease and desist from surveying, measuring, marking or putting up posts, corners and mounds on the lands at issue in the lawsuit.
